( Background: Someone in my Facebook group DIY Cancer Repair Manual posted that they had started taking cannabis oil for these four disorders, ten days ago…I was troubled by this post, & here is my response…I decided to make this a blog post, in case others were trying to treat these mood disorders in this way…Dangerously…Pain pills had been mentioned as an earlier attempt to treat…)

(Also note: A medical cannabis link was added to the post…Cannabis is big business & sellers make claims on their sites about marijuana curing everything from cancer to Parkinson’s disease to multiple sclerosis…In fact, for this spectrum, marijuana products are beneficial…However for mood disorders, marijuana can be the fuel that flames the fire…)

Here is my comment:

Hello…I am concerned by this post as well…Pain pills do not treat any of the disorders mentioned…

Cannabis can exacerbate bipolar disorder, causing increased likelihood of episodes…Studies have found that though cannabis makes sufferers feel good when they are stable, it does not address them when they are in distress…

There are four distinct disorders mentioned: ptsd, anxiety, depression, & bipolar disorder…These can each be treated individually with things available at health food stores, but you have to be specific for each…

Post traumatic stress disorder is alleviated by Iron- Floradix Salus has an excellent liquid Iron supplement- do not overdo iron as it can cause other problems…But it helps tremendously with the pattern of broken record syndrome, where you replay the same trigger memory endlessly…

Anxiety is excess dopamine, low serotonin…You can boost serotonin with estrogenic things…Soy isoflavones are powerful boosters that oppose the dopamine….Again, use judiciously…( when you feel better, cut back)…

Depression is excess hydrogen in the Liver…Oxygenate the Liver to ease the sadness feelings…Ginseng is a great Oxygen, which also boosts sex drive, which is lower in depression…

Bipolar is a Zinc excess, with a severe Vitamin A deficiency…Start taking Vitamin A( cod liver oil is a great source), & load up the Vitamin A at the beginning…If you stick to taking the Vitamin A, you can delicately avoid bipolar meds…If you feel a manic episode approaching, take more Vitamin A…Long term it can also be problematic, but it is far safer than taking antipsychotic medication which causes some other major side effects…

THC, as someone mentioned is not going to be good for you vis a vis these disorders…It has specific applications for cancer, but even then, is not a panacea…Please be very careful about cannabis sellers marketing this product for all ailments…

Schizoaffective disorder has been correlated to cannabis, & can commonly be seen as a result of people who are vulnerable getting pressured into doing drugs for the wrong reasons( ie: university or high school students)…

Be safe…Be careful…

More:( response to someone else who asked):

Dr Kelly Brogan has several free resources for tapering off psychiatric meds & resetting the mind in a healthy way…If someone can pay for the Vital Mind reset program it is half price till Sept 30 right now( I attended the free webinar recently)…Dr Brogan is a holistic psychiatrist who is teaching nutritional based fixes instead of drug based…

From me personally, this sounds like a schizoaffective disorder caused by nutritional deficiencies…

Many people just aren’t eating enough, & what they eat isn’t full of enough nutrients to satisfy the thinking mind…

For the hallucination type, gingko biloba in generous daily dose boosts the mind…Paranoia goes along with that…

If supplements are too costly then increasing intake of cholesterol foods like eggs…The daily breakfast raw egg smoothie for example( 2-4 raw eggs, fresh squeezed orange juice, organic banana, ice- tastes delicious don’t worry & no no salmonella anymore don’t worry)…

Additional support for bipolar is Vitamin A( cod liver oil)…

For anxiety & panic, soy isoflavones…

For depression, ginseng…
