Wonder where I have been?

Got an email from CIPO yesterday that my patent application was missing parts…

I applied around January 2018…

So yesterday I consulted the planet about how to amend my omissions…

Thanks to my friend, and law expert Altaf Kahn, I was able to complete the abstract, description, claim, sections, pay my $200 penalty, and submit this work very early this morning…

I got up at 2am with an idea of how to approach this task, based on a patent story Altaf told me…

You gotta strike while the iron is hot, so I typed out my ideas as they flew in…

It is 12:54 pm, and I am pooped and sweaty…

Had a celebration breakfast at Flo’s diner on yorkville avenue with my mom…

To put this into perspective, it could have cost me 6k canadian if I had hired a patent agent to do this work for me…

At $34.50 an hour, these things take a whole lot of hours…

But I did it and it is good!

I have never applied for a patent before, but I am a little excited now to see if I could get one…

Fingers crossed, I am going to wash and nap…

See you when I am fresh again…

Go Raptors!
