It’s been a weird 2 years…

I started running, just because they said I did not have to wear a mask if I was exercising outdoors…

By the end of 2020, I was running (super slow) 6 miles, three times a week!

I got certified in Maffetone Method running, which is basically very very slow running! (me!)

The science is basically 180 minus your age, and that is your maximum heart rate when running…

So you go slow…

It is safer, & I don’t get shin splints anymore, & I am happy, & it is sustainable for your whole life…

Dr. Phil Maffetone thought this up…You can use the “MAF method” for other types of exercise too…
