When I started writing the Grove Health Science series, I would embed free versions of the books using Scribd’s service, on this website… http://sarigrove.wix.com/library
…so the following picture shows how many people viewed each book(& some other documents of mine that were on Scribd)…
Then, I decided that maybe some people were on mobile devices & wanted smaller versions of the books, again for free…So I linked book cover images to Smashwords, where I had under 10 mb versions, also for free…
…this next picture shows how many people downloaded those smaller size books…
Now the Scribd numbers & the Smashword numbers are only 2 places that track activity…
When I made Book 8 free on Amazon for 3 days, over a 100 people(who I mentioned it to) rushed to download the Kindle version(slightly bigger & higher resolution than the always free Smashwords versions)…
Now one of the reasons I made the books free in the first place is to develop word of mouth authority…This is what Createspace, Amazon’s self-publishing arm told me to do…
Another reason is that because you can edit manuscripts, even after publishing them, & I do, I wanted to make sure each book was sort of perfect before getting big publicity or selling…
Turns out that was smart because I now feel I need to go back & correct one or two glitches in each of the books…Not really glitches, but things I know now that I didn’t know then…Like for example, melatonin is in the Bismuth/Indium family, NOT in the Phosphorus family as I mention casually in Book 4…
When writing & researching & thinking, I still work like an abstract expressionist painter…Broad strokes first, work quickly for freshness, tidy it up last…
I have a whole new book really in this new WordPress Blog that I started here Christmas of 2014…Book 9…
But maybe, instead of doing that, the shiny new thing, I should buckle down & go over each of my already published manuscripts & re-edit them…
You can see & study what I am doing(& have done) in this new course I put together on GinkgoTree… If you do come across a glitch in one of the books, please write to me at grove@sent.com Sari Grove, so I can make sure to stick in the correct info while I am re-editing…
Once each manuscript is corrected for glitches, I can re-upload them to Scribd & Smashwords & Amazon paperback & Amazon Kindle…
This might take a whole year, 2015, possibly…
If not, I will then be able to move on to doing Book 9…I am guessing Book 9 will not be made available for free…(My mother & a caring drug dealer who sold me CBD oil when I could not get it legally in Canada, feel I need to monetize…)

He can wear Rudraksha beads around the neck all the time…You can buy a mala on Anazon or ebay-it comes from a tree in India-it is the inner nut…Heals tendons, cartilage…Usually strung by monks-very inexpensive but get one from India…Glucosamine & MSM Chondroitin heal cartilage too-alternatively eat red meat with Tequila-really! The synergy of the Agave in the tequila with the meat apparently repairs-was told this by a bio-science grad who runs a health company in Colorado(shin splints from running)…Tequila has to be the expensive stuff to get the Agave-reposado I think…also shrimp help too…

I was at Freshii having a free ginger pineapple cucumber apple kale juice with my mother, because my mum mentioned that the last time, the veggie burritos came not wrapped in Kale leafs but just regular wrap material(modern day conversations eh?), so we got free juices as an immediate apology! I asked where our juice lady was from(very thick accent), she said Kenya, I mentioned a friend who was Masai( warrior tribe) who had studied at University of Toronto, here, to learn how to plant trees in the desert- then he was going to Israel to refine his knowledge, then back to the desert in Kenya to plant trees…(the Masai are runners)…Then I started singing “Mungu Yu Mwema, Mungu Yu Mwema, Mungu Yu Mwema, Yu Mwema, Kwangu…” She joined in & we sang together…(oh God is good God is good to me-song, in Swahili)…Then I said “Mungu Akubariki” (God Bless you), & she said “Piu Wehweh”(& to you as well)…Then she said something unusual …She said ” Asante”…The Ashante tribe are from Ghana & they are surgeons( the scar on the face identifies them)…So this is why I made an appointment with the TCM electroacupuncturist…

The Mammogram tore the top of both breast leaving injury nodes 3 months later…Wordg was when the Mammo squished the lump it carved into the skin underneath, leaving a wound- left breast, so it was right above my heart…Had to postpone the needle core biopsy 2 weeks later because I was still in pain…Then the biopsy happened, & the holes didn’t heal for 2 months…(I had been detoxing all the along, not realizing how invasive these tests were-)…Because the biopsy holes didn’t heal right away, I had pressure problems-every time I’d drink liquid, it went into my lungs-I thought I was going to get pneumonia…Then the last straw was the degradation of the oncology appointment…Perfunctory list of lumpectomy, mastectomy. Radiation, chemotherapy, tamoxifen…I didn’t need a specialist to read me that list…It was cookie cutter medicine, & I was the dough…She had another patient while she saw me-stops me mid-paragraph to go to the other person, comes back, forgets the topic…Didn’t care about all the work I had already done, nothing…Then she’s booking me for surgery for June! That was the end for me, 3 strikes you are out…Mammo strike, Biopsy strike, Onco strike…Oh & the biopsy left a straw like stream where it had dragged into the lump-palpable…My father was a neuro-ophthalmological surgeon & taught interns in hospitals & wrote textbooks on medicine-but the doctors I have met today are a different species-they have 5 minutes, they recite from rote, they don’t care, their offices are filthy…I think it’s because medicine became socialized here in Canada in 1980…They get paid by the govt (OHIP) & only a small stipend per visit so the more people they see(50 a day), the more they earn…They earn much more with surgeries, maybe why they are so gung ho…
